This is a feature we thought would come to Android a long time ago, it’s finally made available. Here we are talking about voice search via Google Assistant from Google.com. Such functionality was already available in the Google app, but not directly on the search engine site via a browser. It’s done now.
Android: voice search reaches Google.com
You don’t need to install anything to access it, just go to Google.com from Google Chrome or Edge. Other browsers should be supported later, if you are a Firefox, Opera or any other app user you will have to be patient. As you can see in the above capture, there is a gray microphone in the search bar next to the magnifying glass (in the Google app, the microphone is in the colors of the Mountain View company logo).

Tap this to launch Google Assistant. Next, you’ll need to give Google permission to use your microphone if it’s not done yet. Here you go, you can now make any request you want out loud. “Why Android is better than iOS” unlucky. Many users have a reflex to go through their browser instead of the Google app, this will give them access to this very practical feature. We tend to talk more and more with our smartphone, especially since the rise of voice assistants and voice messages in messaging apps like WhatsApp.
