One of the best web browsers on Android Firefox is getting a new update. After a beta period, new features of the web browser will be available to all users from October 23, 2018. Firefox on Windows, Mac, and Linux gets a new anti-tracking feature to block tracking elements, including heavy adware. slows down web page loading, removal of cross-site tracking (removes cookies and blocks trackers). Firefox also blocks harmful scripts for web browsing. Performance has also been improved over the previous version.
Firefox 63: Here is the list of new features introduced in the latest Android update
Firefox 63 now compatible on Android With Picture-in-Picture mode (provided you have at least Android 8.0 Oreo or higher). This allows you to have a small floating window that can be moved at will. It is possible to return to full screen mode at any time. This mode is very convenient for watching a video while using another application at the same time. List of new features introduced in Android:
- Picture-in-Picture mode now available with video support
- Use of notification channels
- Added languages: Canadian English (en-CA) and Ligurian (lij)
- App improves Oreo with security and performance updates and support for new features
