A commotion took place on the Twitter platform on April 3rd, a Monday. What seemed like just another day ended up generating a huge controversy, and it all happened because Elon Musk would have replaced the famous bird, the traditional symbol of the platform, with a dog.
It is obvious that all this mystery would end up arousing intense curiosity about it, so several people started commenting on the subject. Amidst so much speculation, it is possible that the theory presented by Felipe Neto, a Brazilian influencer, makes the most sense among them all.
According to Felipe Neto, the reason why the bird was replaced by a dog was simply a form of mockery. However, mocking what or who? Well, that’s what we’re going to find out. Keep reading.
So, what’s going on on Twitter?
According to the theory presented by Felipe Neto, replacing the bird with a dog would be a way for Elon Musk to “show off”, that is, to brag, in a way.
Felipe Neto also added that the billionaire is being sued for approximately 260 billion dollars for promoting the DOGECOIN currency and making it known among the public, completely destabilizing the market.
The theory starts to make sense when we analyze that the same puppy that appeared as the Twitter logo is the same one drawn on the digital currency DOGECOIN.
See the tweet below:
2) The dog is the symbol of the DOGECOIN currency. It is not appearing at the top of the website by chance, it is probably a joke by Musk.
I think it’s unlikely that he will be convicted in this case, because apparently there is a lack of regulation to classify him as a criminal, since it is a cryptocurrency. pic.twitter.com/7KhIjAAos7

3) A lot of people lost a colossal amount of money so that Musk could laugh and put billions in his pocket.
He made several posts implying that DOGECOIN would be the “future” and that he would even create a city that would use the currency.
Its value has skyrocketed.
Then he just sold everything pic.twitter.com/JHa0TJW0m4

The truth was told by Musk
In the end, although Felipe Neto’s explanation made perfect sense, Musk ended up denying all theories about what happened.
To do this, he made available a screenshot of a conversation he had with a user, who asked Elon Musk to exchange the bird for a dog. See:
