Reddit user creates creative QR Codes and attracts attention
To break away from tradition, nhciao was inspired by anime, geometric art, and landscapes. His art made the QR Code more colorful, creative, and inspiring. The artist shared his idea on r/StableDiffusion, a Reddit community.
QR Codes are two-dimensional codes that store information in an encoded form. They are made up of a matrix of dots, usually black and white, arranged in squares, which can be read by electronic devices equipped with cameras and specific applications, such as smartphones and tablets.
They can contain many different types of information, such as website URLs, contact information, text, phone numbers, links to apps, and more.
When scanned, devices interpret the code and perform the corresponding action, such as opening a web page, adding a contact to the phonebook, or playing a video. In the case of nhciao, the URLs direct users to the website link that also produces this code-generating technology.
We haven’t seen many of these creative ways of generating QR Codes yet, however, it is an innovative idea that should please many, especially those who usually use the tool in companies, invitations and even as a payment resource. Check out the result of the artwork:
