Nowadays, finding a person who is not accompanied by their cell phone It is considerably rare, since the device is always at hand, no matter where you are, such as bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, and many others.
This act may seem harmless, but a study conducted in England showed something frightening and chaotic, especially for those who are obsessed with cleanliness. According to a study, it was proven that more than 90% of smartphones are contaminated. That’s right!
Contamination occurs due to the use of electronic devices while they are performing their duties and, without even washing them, they are already in contact with the technological device.
If proper hygiene is not carried out, not even of the hands or the equipment, it becomes increasingly contaminated with microbacteria that can cause diseases.

In the research, 1 in 6 smartphones showed the presence of these microorganisms, revealing considerable contamination.
Bringing this context to Brazil, a country with more than 250 million cell phones, according to data from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, it is possible that a significant number of cell phones are contaminated at this very moment.
Read an excerpt mentioned by a microbiologist, who works at Richet Medicina & Diagnóstico, called Gabriela Castro, regarding this contamination:
“Cell phones are a means of transporting microorganisms, since our hands are in constant contact with the environment and the device. Handling them in public places, during meals or even in the bathroom should be controlled, and hands and the device should always be washed in these places, for example, before eating or using the bathroom.”
But what is the correct cleaning process?
Now that you know that it is essential to sanitize your smartphone and your hands regularly, it is time to learn the most appropriate way to sanitize your device.
To start, take a soft cloth so as not to damage your smartphone screen. Then moisten the cloth with 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean it properly. Avoid using aggressive substances as much as possible to avoid damaging the device.
Also try not to use regular alcohol, as it will seep through the plastic on the screen and end up damaging the inside of the device.
