People have a special passion for iPhone and Apple products. This preference is not just for the elegant design or advanced technology, but also for the unique experience they provide.
The iPhone, in particular, has become more than just a phone. For many, it is an extension of their personality and lifestyle. People value the feeling of belonging to a community when using Apple products.
The brand’s ecosystem, consisting of iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and others, it works harmoniously, making it easier to use. Additionally, the Apple Store and customer support are examples of dedication to the consumer. This combination of design, functionality and customer service makes Apple irresistible to many.
However, even achieving resounding success, the brand is not immune to facing small failures. Recently, it was announced that there is a technical problem with the Screen Time feature (or screentime, in English). This problem affects both the iOS operating system, used on iPhones, and iPadOS, specific to iPads.

Before we delve deeper into this subject, it is necessary to know that the feature called Screen Time, available on Apple devices such as iPhones and iPads, was developed to help users understand and control the time they spend using their devices and applications.
This feature provides detailed reports on the amount of time spent on different applicationsdepending on how often the device is used.
However, this feature does not just provide a report to help you understand screen time. It also allows users to set time limits for specific apps, encouraging breaks and helping manage exposure.
For parents, this is undoubtedly a great tool, especially for those who want to monitor or limit their children’s device use. However, here lies the problem reported by the company itself. Children are managing to circumvent this system and continue using digital devices.
Users have reported problems with this function, especially when trying to set routines for children. What happens is that, even after setting usage limits for the devices, Screen Time has not been able to save these changes correctly.
Because of this, the devices can still be used without restrictions. When trying to establish new usage periods, all configured limits were deactivated by the tool. This results in situations where children, without defined limits, are able to spend longer on their smartphones.
To date, the Apple It has not yet announced which of the updates will fix the problem, but stated that it is working full steam to find a solution.
