“We want to finalize the top 20 players as quickly as possible” – Rahul Dravid in T20 World Cup squad

India head coach Rahul Dravid will soon start planning the team, as there has been a lot of discussion in the cricket fraternity over who will be added to the XI playing for the T20 World Cup just four months away. It will also be Rohit Sharma’s first time as captain at a World Cup.

Rahul Dravid made statements after the South African series, which was interrupted due to the rain and brought the five-game series to 2-2, in which the two countries shared the trophy. Dravidian said he has yet to determine the final 18-20 players.

“Start solidifying this roster” – Rahul Dravid

“As we get closer to the event, you want to solidify your final squad, otherwise you want some contingencies to happen in the world we live in today. Obviously you want to get only 15 of them to the World Cup but (you need to identify) the best 18 to 20 players”, India’s core answered a question about what his team was.

“Obviously there are going to be strange changes due to injury and things beyond your control, but we will begin to solidify this roster as soon as possible,” he said.

“Whether this will happen in the next series (Ireland) or the next series (England), it’s hard to say, but we’re definitely trying to do that as quickly as possible.”

India, inauguration, location of Rishabh Pant or Dinesh Karthik. In the bowling section, players such as Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Avesh khan, Harshal Patel, Umran Malik will be able to choose from.
