Poirier is undoubtedly a big superstar in the UFC, but “The Diamond” seems to be getting restless as he tries to book a fight.

2021 was a very busy year for the Louisiana fighter. Dustin fought three times and went 2-1. His two fights against Conor McGregor were huge hits as he sealed the trilogy to his name. Following his win over McGregor at UFC 264, Poirier took on lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. After two good laps from The Diamond, Charles Oliveira managed to send Poirier out in the third round.
Dustin has said publicly that he is unlikely to get another shot at the title. Poirier watches a fight against UFC superstar Nate Diaz. Both fighters have been going back and forth for a long time, but the promotion has shown no signs of being booked for this fight. Not long ago, for Diaz’s birthday, Poirier suggested that Stockton Slugger sign the contract so he could give him a “whip.”
