Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo battled for the featherweight title for the third time at the joint main event of UFC 270. Figueiredo took first place after a five-round back and forth battle, dethroning Moreno to become featherweight once again. The champions and they are preparing for a fourth meeting.

Moreno parted ways with his longtime gym and coach in Tijuana to train under the guided eyes of James Krause of Glory MMA & Fitness in Kansas City. Moreno talked about this move in his last interview. MMA addictsaid, “Of course it was very difficult. It was very difficult. Raul has been my coach since I started when I was 16-17 years old, of course it was tough. But people need to understand and not confuse loyalty.”

Added, “I still care about Raul, I still care about my team, and that has nothing to do with loyalty and my career, the things I want to continue to achieve and my hunger to achieve my dreams. I personally felt that I needed a change, something new. We often talk about the comfort zone, but over the years What I’ve learned is that your comfort zone can come from where you least expect it.”

“I decided to train with James Krause, and when the news came out a lot of people were saying, ‘No, he should go AKA, he should go to the American Top Team’ and go to other big gyms, but I don’t know. “I’m used to always getting very personal treatment with my coaches and I feel like these big gyms have it to a certain degree, but I don’t prefer that.” Moreno finished it.
