“How are you not ready?” Stephen A Smith torches Jorge Masvidal for his performance against Colby Covington

Stephen A. Smith Couldn’t believe the performance of the MMA superstar Jorge Masvidal At UFC 272. The ESPN reporter was disappointed after “Gamebred” was dominated by Covington at the main event.

UFC 272 It was a total blockbuster, and the main event had everything a fan could want in a fight. The pairing of Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal had drama, great buildup, and an incredible fight to finally deliver. However, Stephen A Smith was baffled as to how Masvidal came out in the fight, and came under the dominance of his former roommate, training partner Covington, for five rounds.

Although he managed to knock down “Chaos” several times, Masvidal was never in a position to defeat his opponent. At the post-fight press conference, Jorge came out and admitted that his wrestling was flat, and Stephen A believes this is unacceptable for a fighter of his caliber. In the latest episode of First Take on ESPN, Smith reacts to Masvidal vs Covington.

Stephen A Smith is curious about Jorge Masvidal’s approach to UFC 272

“I saw Masvidal, he was brave and he survived five rounds by telling Covington ‘let’s get some more’. He was literally using two security guards to hold on because he was so exhausted.” Stephen A said on First Take. The sportscaster believes that Covington is in better shape than Masvidal and that “Gamebred” should put a lot more effort into this fight.

“Man [Colby Covington] In extraordinary form, he is an outstanding wrestler and Masvidal admitted that his wrestling is straight. How did this circle come to be when you know this man as well as you know him, know what he’s trying to do to you, and know how much he supposedly hates him? How were you not ready for a wrestling match?” Smith tore up Masvidal in his review of the fight.

Masvidal lost the battle to his friend, who turned the enemy by unanimous decision at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Masvidal is currently 3-2 with a 35-15 record in his last five games.
