Jiri Prochazka made history by defeating Glover Teixeira at UFC 275. It was a great fight and it could have gone either way, but the Czech decided at the last minute to put an end to the fight.
After this magnificent win, Prochazka took the field. MMA Clock show and announced that he wanted to fight Jan Błachowicz as he was the biggest fighting champion in the division. said:
“I think below me is Jan Blachowicz, the most dangerous man in the light heavyweight division. He could be the next competitor. I think for Europe this will be the biggest event in martial arts ever. me and him“
While this created a lot of excitement, there was an even more exciting sudden change in Prochazka’s plan. Later, a video posted to the fighter’s Twitter account revealed that he wanted to withdraw it. Teixeira.
“Hello everyone, I wish you a good day. And for the next fight (I’ve made a decision) and the next fight I want to fight Glover. I will show you clearly and decisively why I am a champion. And I think Glover deserves it. So, here’s the offer” said Prochazka.

“The biggest MMA fight in European history” – Jan Błachowicz promises Dana a tremendously successful fight against Jiri Prochazka
Błachowicz recently took to Twitter to share a series of tweets in which he listed the fighter’s credentials. The warrior also used this opportunity to shed light on his intentions to fight Jiri Prochazka.
Blachowicz He stated that he is an extremely respectful warrior who does not back down from any difficulties. The Polish also revealed that he is not thinking of retiring anytime soon and wants to continue fighting.
“Facts: I became the UFC Champion as the first male fighter in Poland. Because of my job – my name is respected. He never gave up on any challenge. I went to the UFC to create great moments for the fans. I haven’t finished yet” Wrote Błachowicz.
In another tweet, Błachowicz tagged the UFC president Veal White and asked him to fight Prochazka directly. The fighter claimed that he would give the fans the biggest MMA match in Europe. He wrote :
“@danawhite – no bullshit, no politics, no bullshit.
Give me Prochazka and I’ll give you the biggest MMA fight in European history. On the contrary, I always keep my word.”
Błachowicz doesn’t seem to have anything to do with sitting around while the champion takes someone else in the meantime. Błachowicz desperately wants to get back what he lost and it will be interesting to see him continue his journey for the next title.
