A surprising hostility has flared up in the MMA world. light star Paddy Pimblett tired against one of the best-known journalists, Ariel Helwani In the final episode of his podcast featuring the UFC boss Veal White itself. It didn’t take long for Helwani to respond to the allegations that Bad Paddy had made recently.
Dana White and Ariel Helwani have publicly revealed that they despise each other. The animosity between the UFC boss and the journalist grew so much that Helwani was banned from attending media press conferences for UFC events. Recently Paddy Pimblet posted a podcast episode with UFC supermo on his YouTube channel and made an angry rant about Helwani.
Responding to Pimblett’s allegations that the journalist was making money from the fighters and sparking controversy to gain more engagement, Helwani decided to leak voicemails sent by the Scouser fighter showing that he wanted to collaborate for an interview ahead of UFC 282. He was here to help Pimblett further his fight, reaching his manager, who gave a shocking response.
The manager claimed that Paddy Pimblett would only sit down for an interview if a budget was allocated. This really surprised Helwani and the journalist was offended by this. “They reached me, I did not reach them! I think looking back, I’m like, ‘Hey, let’s see if Ariel’s going to pay us for an interview.’ said Helwani recently MMA Clock show slamming the fighter for making false claims.
