“I don’t see them as competition” – Dana White once said she doesn’t see Bellator as competition.

Dana White has played an important role in establishing the UFC as a global brand over the years. UFC, arguably the world’s leading MMA promotion, has made its presence felt in major countries around the world. While the promotion was so successful, it saw the rise of other promotions as well. One such rival promotion to the UFC is Bellator MMA.

Bellator MMA, owned by Paramount Group, is a promotion that started in 2008. Since its existence, the promotion has brought out some brilliant fights. While many rivals have stood and failed against the UFC, Bellator MMA is still on its journey to become the best.

Although some see Bellator MMA as a competitor to the UFC, Veal White does not feel threatened by them. During an interview, the UFC President once said, “It’s one of those things. I don’t care about those guys. I don’t see them as competition in any way.” [H/T MMA Fighting]

Whether or not Dana White sees Bellator MMA as a competition, the emergence of competing promotions is something the UFC President is likely following. In fact, the CEO of such a rival promotion once called White and the UFC.
