The eight-year Green Bay Packers buyer was traded to Las Vegas for a first-round pick and second-round pick in the NFL 2022 draft.

Davante Adams has signed a massive five-year deal with the Raiders worth $141.25 million. Adams is set to earn an average of $28.25 million annually, making him the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history, eventually. Previously, Adams had refused to play for the Packers simply because he was labeled the franchise. With the Packers making Aaron Rodgers the highest paid QB in the league, there’s little room left on the team to offer Adams a long-term deal.

“Now, this WR corps is in shambles. How do they own it? Valdes-Scantling free agent, Equanimeous St. Brown gone. Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb and that’s what the real contributors were for last year.” Added Wright. “It begs the question why he might want to resign if he knew that Davante wouldn’t or probably wouldn’t be there when he resigned. Except for going to my first spot, he’s rich.”
Aaron Rodgers really blocked his chances of winning another Super Bowl by signing a deal that didn’t allow the team to sign any other weapons in their arsenal. Alongside his legendary talents, Brady won 7 Super Bowls because the team was willing to cut his salary so that he could sign brave guys who could win them the Super Bowl.
