When Lebron James made his historic move from Cleveland to LA to join the Lakers, it took a while for things to come together but he eventually took his championship. He signed a major extension after that and hasn’t come close to a ring since and it doesn’t look like he’s coming this season either.
Aaron Rodgers has been in the headlines much more recently as he is the highest paid player in the NFL remaining in the Green Bay Packers. His 3-year, $150 million contract was largely seen as Rodgers securing his future and not really caring about winning anymore.
Colin Cowherd took this into account and explained why Lebron James and Aaron Rodgers went after the big money, but Tom Brady didn’t.

Like Lebron saying I’ll show you how great I am by running and blocking shots. What do people say about headlines from now on? Lebron went to Miami and took the championship. After that comes the Mongol phase.”
Shepherd added “Players with titles, with legacies, go after big money. It is the Mongolian stage. As big as Lebron James though, the mogul scene has its limitations. Management made the ending ugly. Lebron is still good enough to dominate this league. The Lakers’ ownership and management offices are below average, and so he’s been reduced to an incredible man.”
Cowherd has also been added Brady’s career is different. That’s how Brady’s career ended and Brady didn’t choose money. He chose management. Belichick’s belief in his culture and ego gave him no weapons. And so, Brady said, unlike most of the all-time greats, I don’t exist. I’m not going to the Mongolian stage and that’s why Brady’s ending is so great.”
To further emphasize his purpose, Cowherd said: “Tom Brady lived by my faith in this industry. Don’t chase money, follow management. You will earn money. Brady’s going to win the Super Bowls, be in the commercials, make all that money. Aaron Rodgers is after money. He will never win another championship. If Rodgers won’t be getting the ads anymore, it will be very soon. “
Cowherd’s final statement was as follows: “Even Lebron, no matter how great he is, it’s not a playoff team. Brady is one of the five favorites to win the Super Bowl and Lebron won’t make it to the playoffs.”
When Tom Brady is back in the NFL and not chasing the money, he has a chance to expand his record and get his 8th ring, and Tampa players continue to do so. Only time will tell whether his pursuit of success will be fruitful.
