Tom Brady has been leaving the team since August 11 due to personal issues. For the first time in 23 years, the Bucs QB are absent from pre-season games. Brady took one break during his Patriot days to spend time with his family, but these sessions were optional.
When Todd Bowles was asked about Tom Brady’s return, the head coach was relatively quiet and had no definitive answer. It became clear that Brady would be returning after the preseason Tennessee Titans game, but the head coach revealed he had no definitive answer.
“We’ll see (when will Brady return to practice)” said Bowles. “We’ll talk next week. [I’m] not dealing with it right now. We’re trying to train and play a game against Tennessee. ‘Some time from Tennessee,’ I said. There is no exact date for me. But we will check, stay in touch and find out.”
Tom Brady and Bucs fans are concerned about the situation with the QB, who, aged 45, will become the oldest player in NFL history to start a regular season.

With no firm date for Tom Brady’s return, people are wondering if the Super Bowl winner will be a part of the team when the regular season starts. When head coach Todd Bowles was asked about this, he replied that Tom Brady would be the first QB when they start the new season with a game against the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL Ian Rapoport ruled out a family emergency and stated that there was a prior agreement between Tom Brady and the Bucs coaching team so he could spend more time with his family.
While it’s extremely unusual for NFL teams to give a player like Tom Brady so much flexibility. One of the best I think if anyone deserves it, it’s him.
