“They want to make a statement” accuses Deshaun Watson of attending Browns QBs comeback match against Texans

Deshaun Watson Suspended for 11 regular games before the start of the season. Browns QB was accused of sexual harassment by more than 20 women.

The NFL world has been shaken by this controversy, as Watson was suspended before the season began. Watson’s team of attorneys agreed with all the accusers except one woman, who is still pending lawsuits and will meet with the QB in court.

The 27-year-old will make his debut on December 4 when the Browns face off against his former team, the Houston Texans.

While Watson will encounter some familiar faces in the stands, many women who have sued him will reportedly be present to watch his first game.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney who handles all women’s cases, reported that 10 women who accused Watson of sexual harassment were found at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

“Some of my clients wanted to go” Buzbee, who will also participate in the match, told ESPN Tuesday. “They thought it was important to make it clear that they were still here and that they were important.”

Deshaun Watson was still playing for Texans when reports of sexual misconduct began to surface. Although Browns QB denies all charges and still believes he is innocent.

The women will watch the game to convince Watson that they still matter and that the matter is not over yet. Some women really want to join the match. “To make the ‘Hey, we’re still here’ statement. We are important. Our voices have been heard and this is not over. [Sexual harassment and assault] It happens every day in the United States’” Buzbee also added in his statement.

Watson agreed with almost everyone who filed a lawsuit against him, except for one person who still believed the QB was wrong and would not settle for anything less than a criminal charge for the 27-year-old.

“I would not encourage any of them to participate. Some never want to hear Watson’s name again. Others put it in the past. Buzbee stated. “I’m proud that they want to stand up and be counted instead of quietly walking away.”

Deshaun Watson’s comeback against the Texans will be an interesting one as the QB will be playing their first NFL game of the season in the midst of this whole fiasco.
