The NFL openly admits to missing two game-changing penalties in the Bears-Dolphins game.

The Bears-Dolphins matchup was an interesting event that continued until the last second. Both teams were evenly matched, although the Dolphins were better than the Bears by a score of 35-32. Bears think otherwise.

The referees in the NFL game were pretty weak, especially in the fourth quarter. Many of the questionable calls were game-changing, and the Bears feel they were denied two crucial calls that would change the course for them.

Both calls were pass interference, the first was a call to Bears safety Eddie Jackson, where he went to the ball with his back to the Dolphins receiver. The referees quickly threw the flag and awarded the penalty to the Dolphins. Later, the NFL declared that the penalty should not be imposed.

“I don’t know what to say. You’re the referee, you’re right, I don’t understand how you didn’t see me playing ball.” Eddie Jackson stated. “Replay will show you, I haven’t looked at the receiver once the whole time. I was playing ball in the air all the way, so it’s like crazy.”

The second missed penalty was a similar pass interference, but this time, the Bears were not given a legal penalty. Bears receiver Chase Claypool was receiving the ball from QB. Justin Fields and the Dolphins’ defender’s hands could be noticed hugging WR.

“Justin Fields threw a good ball to give me a chance, then I felt a little pulled back.” Claypool said after the game. “Still, you have to try to fight it and get it, because you can’t trust anyone else. I can only trust myself.”

The NFL later admitted that the referees made a mistake during the Bears-Dolphins game.

In the Bears-Dolphins game, the Bears were not satisfied with the referees and decided to review the calls with the help of the league. The league came back with the results and stated that the referees made two mistakes.

The first was the DPI against the Bears security Eddie Jackson, which should not have been given, and the second was the DPI that should have been called for WR Chase Claypool.

If the Bears had taken the correct penalty, then they would have been in the shooting range and would have forced the game into overtime. Now all we can do is blame the referees for the game over and the Bears will now have to focus on their next game against the Falcons.
