Tony Jefferson, the Baltimore Ravens safety has done something crazy this off-season. He admitted on Thursday that he’s been playing without glasses in the NFL all these years. In the Ravens’ preseason opening game, Jefferson finally got his glasses and realized he’d been lacking perfect vision for the past few years.
The Baltimore Ravens faced the Tennessee Titans in a high-octane matchup on Friday. The Ravens dominated the entire game and beat the Titans 23-10. Jefferson had a good game as they finished the night with three balls and a win.

Tony Jefferson played with a blurred vision for eight seasons
Tony Jefferson He made an impromptu deal with the Arizona Cardinals in 2013 and soon became famous for his production on the field. After four years in Arizona, he became an unrestricted free agent and received numerous offers from teams such as the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. Eventually, he signed a four-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens. He was released by the Ravens three years later and picked by the 49ers. He returned home to Baltimore in 2021 and began his second stint with the team.
After the Titans game, the 30-year-old security took to Twitter to express her newfound vision. “I can’t even lie – I stopped wearing my glasses years ago and that might have been the dumbest thing I’ve ever done. With my glasses I can see much clearer and farther. Jefferson wrote. When a fan asked what he had been doing in the league for the past eight seasons, Jefferson replied: “I wasn’t wearing anything. I used to wear contacts and glasses in college, but I quit.”
