Tom Brady has hurt and angered many war veterans after his recent ‘painful’ military comparison. Brady has had a tough time this season and nothing is going right for the legendary QB.
Tom Brady’s personal and professional life has been in crisis since he decided to rejoin the NFL after his 40-day retirement last season. That didn’t go well for Brady, and recently on the Let’s Go Podcast, Bucs QB made some interesting comments that took the internet by storm.
Tom Brady allegedly insulted US veterans by comparing the NFL to military deployment. The controversial statement angered numerous military veterans, who asked Brady to publicly apologize for his ignorant expression.
“It’s almost like a football season like you’re going on military duty and it’s like ‘man, here I go again'” Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB said “Let’s Go! With Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast. “There’s really only one way to do it… The truth is, you can really only be authentic to yourself, right?”
Tom Brady is very hot from veterans, and rightfully so. Alberto Romero, a US military veteran, posted a Venn chart on his Twitter comparing the NFL to the military, and also asked Tom Brady to issue a public apology.
According to the Venn Diagram, which Alberto Romero posted on Twitter, the only thing in common between the NFL and the military is to stay away from family.

“I really hope Tom Brady will apologize publicly for his ignorant statements:” Senior Alberto Romero asks TB12 to apologize for his misrepresentation.
Alberto Romero also spoke about former NFL player Pat Tillman, who joined the US Army Rangers after the September 11 attacks in the country, and stated that Tillman would never agree with Tom Brady’s views.
“I really really REALLY hope that Tom Brady publicly apologizes for his ignorant statements. I’m sure Mr Pat Tillman wouldn’t agree with him.” Alberto Romero explained on Twitter.
Tom Brady is going through a tough time in his life and career, and disappointment is evident in the plays and interviews as well. The seven-time Super Bowl winner also spoke with Kevin Durant on the same podcast about mental illness and how he overcame difficulties.
Tom Brady and the Bucs are currently 3-3 in the NFL and their star QB will have to move into top form to save something for the Bucs in their final season when they face the Panthers in the next game of the season.
