NFL Star wide receiver Davante Adams, who was recently traded from Green Bay to the Las Vegas Raiders, suffered a personal loss today. He lost one of his cousins in a gun attack in the East Palo Alto region of California on Wednesday. Adams’ cousin name is Ralph Fields, the victim is 34 years old.
About three dozen shots were fired in the shooting, in which Ralph was the only one to succumb to his wounds, and three others were injured in this horrific attack. Ralph Fields was shot at Jack Farrell Park at 2500th block of Fordham Street. According to police, he died while being taken to the hospital.

Camellia Pittman, one of Davante Adams’ other cousins, who accompanied Fields in the ambulance to the hospital, described how she managed to keep her eyes open and alert. “I saw my cousin get shot, I approached him and I tried to keep him awake by saying nice things like ‘You’re fine’. you will succeed. It was here. You can do.‘”
The shooting occurred while dozens of families were training for a softball tournament, when a boy present recorded the tragedy on his cell phone and captured the sound of more than 30 shots.
“Some would cry, I guess they didn’t expect something like this to happen. It was a frightening feeling for them,” he said.
The San Mateo Country District Attorney’s Office of Investigation has Fields’ record, who previously faced “Charges of negligent discharge of firearm and being a firearm owner criminal.”
