ESPN Debut analyst Stephen A Smith Russell spoke harshly to Wilson about his performance this season. He calls the quarterback for his below-average performance all season long and believes that the quarterback not only trashed the Broncos season, but also squandered the potential of top expansions like Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.

Here’s what Stephen A. had to say, “When you look at Russell Wilson, it’s an atrocity that happens. In Mile High City the only good thing about Russell Wilson being in Denver is that Ciara (Wilson) is with him. In football terms, he just can’t make it. It looks terrible. You have a 2-4 record, you complete 58% of your passes, you have Jerry Jeudy, you have Courtland Sutton, you have Javonte Williams before you fall and you’re probably the reason why he got injured.”

This squad looks elite on paper because all the players on that roster are certified gunners. However, despite multiple offensives, Russ failed to use that chemistry, and at this point Denver seems to have paid their quarterback $245 million for nothing. The team’s kicker has done more this season than the entire attack.

Stephen A. Smith continues to criticize the Denver Broncos offense, “When you have to rely so much on running play because the passing game is so terrible, the outcome is up to you (Russell Wilson)… Courtland Sutton can ball, Jerry Jeudy can ball, they can stand up. did you get them the ball? The offensive line (their) had their problems, but they (Russell Wilson) provided enough cover in enough opportunity for him to complete more than 58% of their passes.“

Stephen A. Smith’s comments are correct. This season, Wilson has looked worse than any other quarterback, including Baker Mayfield, and that’s saying something. Its fall is shocking as no one saw it coming. Throughout his entire career, Russell Wilson has always been consistent and always pops. This season, however, the man playing for the Denver Broncos seems to be the complete opposite of the quarterback who ruled the Seattle Seahawks for 10 years.
