Tom Brady really fooled everyone when he announced that he had finally decided to put an end to his 22-season journey that included 7X Super Bowl, 5x Super Bowl MVPs, as well as a long list of accolades and records.
Just 40 days after his retirement, Brady announced that he was fed up with his ‘home life’ and would be back because he had ‘unfinished business’ even after making more than the sum of all QBs.

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes shared his feelings about his main rival in the NFL coming back to steal the Lombardi Cup. “I really think [sunk] because he retired before he came back.” Mahomes told Sozzi via Yahoo Finance. “I was driving a wedding and all these different kinds of things, so he came back without even realizing he retired, and I think Tom has always been like that. I don’t think I’ll really believe he’s retiring until I see an NFL game being played and he’s not in the league.”
The 26-year-old QB will face Tom Brady and the Bucs en route to the 2022 season, and some believe this epic match will take place in Munich, Germany, instead of Tampa Bay. Mahomes also praised Brady for having a balanced personal and professional life that allowed him to play at age 44.

“I want to play as long as they let me” said Mahomes. “I know this will allow me to continue to take care of my body, build my family the right way, and make sure these relationships have always been great before football, and I think Tom did it the right way. You can see how close he is with his family, but you also see how much he adds to football every day. It’s a great model. If you want to play for a long time and have a lot of success, you have to do a lot of the things he does, take care of your body on and off the court.”
Accessories for Tom Brady to play like he always did, and some might say even better at 44. Bucs QB absolutely crushed Mahomes and the Chiefs in Super Bowl LV. Mahomes has always expressed his appreciation for Brady and what he has brought to the sport and wants to surpass Brady in every way.
There’s no doubt that Patrick Mahomes is the next big name in the NFL but he has yet to see if he can create the same legacy as Brady!
