Drew Brees It was his view that Saints new head coach Dennis Allen needed to build a side around Winston and that would bring them great results for the coming seasons. Winston played only 7 games the previous season and his record was pretty good, but the team is hoping for more from the 28-year-old.
“So, I think it was set up for success with Jameis,‘ said Bree. “You keep creating pieces around him that will help him succeed. I think the defensive side of the ball has an incredible leadership and has been playing at a really high level here for the last few years.”
