As suggested over the first weekend of marketing for the iPhone 14, these are indeed popular iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. If we consider stock availability as a convincing indicator of a product’s commercial success, the new iPhones in Pro versions are a real success. Despite their much higher price (14% more on average), the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max are real rare goods.

Apple’s French site therefore states that iPhone 14 Pro deliveries can only be made between October 28 and November 4. It’s even worse for the iPhone 14 Pro Max, because you can only enjoy it between November 4 and November 14. Conversely, and as expected, the “basic” iPhone 14s are ready to ship and can even be found on the shelves of physical stores. Despite their many advantages and lower price, these models are apparently much less attractive.

iPhone 14 Pro shortage is not limited to France, phenomenon international. For example, the delays for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max in the United States are slightly longer than in France. Even the iPhone 14 seems (slightly) out of stock, as you currently have to wait 4 days for Apple’s smartphones to hit the entry level. The delays with our neighbors are even longer, as they have to wait three to four weeks to receive their iPhone 14 Pro and four to five weeks for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max’s A16 chip certainly smashes those of Android smartphones, but pure performance isn’t everything, and the price gap between these models and the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max is huge. The purchase from the previous generation seems difficult to justify. Of course, Apple offers some innovations, among which we find Dynamic Island, which we find already iconic enough to be copied on Android, but in the opinion of many experts, the iPhone 14s offer improvements to the magnifying glass.
