While smart speakers like the Amazon Echo and Google Home keep logs of our conversations with them, there is a way to delete them. Delete Voice Recordings from Google Home
To be honest, it’s pretty easy to delete audio recordings from Google Home. To delete your voice recordings from Google Home, simply follow these steps:
- Tap the hamburger menu in the top left in the Google Home app. Here, tap on ‘my activity.’
- On the next screen, you will be able to see all of Google’s voice recordings of you. You can tap ‘Play’ to listen to your audio recording and if you want to delete it, Tap the three-dot icon and tap ‘Delete’.
- Google categorizes your records by days so they can be ‘Today’, ‘Yesterday’ etc. You can delete all recordings for a given day by tapping the three-dot menu icon next to the title card, and then tapping Delete.
Alternatively, you can delete all your audio history at once by going to Google’s My Activity page in your web browser.
- Here, click on ‘Filter by date and productCheck the checkbox next to ‘ and then ‘.Sound and Audio.’
- Click the ‘Search’ button.
- After the results are loaded, you can tap on the three dots icon in the search bar and click on ‘.Delete Results‘
This will delete all your audio history from Google servers. However, keep in mind that Google recommends against doing this as it uses the data to improve voice recognition on Google Home and deleting these recordings may hinder the user experience.
