Where are Fortnite Device Uplinks established?

The Fortnite Device Uplink provides a way to connect with the larger systems in use around the island, whether controlled by the Imagined Order or the Seven. They appear as small discs on the ground and when you activate them in Fortnite you will automatically get the second part of the quest. These start around Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, or Command Cavern initially, but will move on to other areas as you progress. If you’re not sure where to start, these are the Fortnite Device Uplink locations.

How to use Fortnite Device Uplink?

To use Fortnite Device Uplink, simply approach one of the buried blue discs and walk over it with no special interaction required. This will trigger the second part of the Rebuild quest where you have to get the IO envelopes with top secret plans. To complete this, head to one of the zeppelins to a nearby IO Airship, then follow your minimap to the icons marked with exclamation points that will take you to top secret plots you can interact with. Take all three and you’re done for that area.

Fortnite Device Uplink locations

The first set of Fortnite Device Uplink locations are centered around Condo Canyon, Coney Crossroads, and Command Cavern, which you’ll find in the following locations:

• Command Cave
• 1) Between two trees, on a hill, from the west tunnel entrance to the floor
• 2) Next to the fence just outside the base’s north entrance
• 3) On the grass near the south entrance of the base
• Coney Junction
• 4) On the north side of the road, in line with the checkpoint
• 5) Among the trees northeast of the gas station
• 6) By the roadside to the south, beyond the checkpoint
• Circle Canyon
• 7) By the roadside north, next to the Welcome to Condo Canyon billboard
• 8) Northeast of the corner house on a dusty hill
• 9) On the south side of the road, next to another billboard

Once you complete the first Rebuild mission, more locations will be unlocked and we’ll have more details on them shortly.
