Finding locations for Fortnite Dive Boards has never been more important, as there is now a weekly quest in Chapter 3 Season 3 that tells you to Jump from the Dive Board to earn a reward. It’s a pretty tough challenge as it goes on – although the actual jumping off the board is as easy as pie in Fortnite, knowing where to find a Dive Board can be a little trickier. Luckily, here’s a breakdown of where the Fortnite Dive Boards await and how you can solve the Jump from a Dive Board quest.
Fortnite Diving Board locations
At the time of writing this, we know that there are two areas in Fortnite with dive boards available to players:
- this Lots of diving boards in the lake between Shifty Shafts and Tilted Towers, marked by the quest itself. They’re plentiful here, but be careful – this is a busy area at the best of times and now there’s a hassle to flag it up and encourage more people to go, expecting conflict if you’re wandering around this area.
- this The other dive board we know of can be found on a small, stone plateau south of Rocky Reels and north of Chonker’s Highway.overlooking the curved river known as horseshoe shelter. Fortnite can’t be climbed without some sort of special item like Grapple Gloves, or by climbing the side stairs (or even jumping directly down the Battle Bus at the start of the game).
Otherwise the key is to pay attention to the white stripe marking a Dive Board in Fortnite. They’re relatively bland architectural pieces—really just wood, nothing more like stairs or railings—and watch out for raised floor sections or structures near the water.
How to complete the weekly Jumping Diving Board quest in Fortnite?

When you find a Dive Board in Fortnite, the Horse Shoe Hideout river, or anywhere else, step onto its end and press the jump button. You’ll be bodily thrown into the air, much larger than any standard jump, where you’ll need to do three times to complete the weekly mission and earn 15K XP as a reward.
We tested this as well, and despite the wording of the quest, players don’t really need to jump closed diving board into the water or ashore. Instead of having to climb back up every time, jump to the ends like a trampoline and quickly collect the three hops needed for victory.
