Last Monday (12), Capcom launched a special interactive website in celebration of its 40th anniversary. Launched as Capcom Townthe new website features content from several of the company’s productions and franchises on an interactive map full of memorable characters from the games.
According to Capcom, the website will be updated regularly with lots of new content. Currently, the material is quite diverse. You can find art and documents related to the development of several Capcom games, news, special avatars for download, Twitter icons and information about the company’s top executives.

Furthermore, through the Capcom Town You can play some classic games, such as “Street Fighter 2”, “Final Fight” and “Mega Man X”, from the Super Nintendo. The games can be accessed through Android and iPhone (iOS), although they may be a little slower depending on the smartphone model.

1. Go to the official Capcom Town website, and on the page map, press the arcade button located in the upper right corner; the following option “Retro Games” will appear.
2. After accessing this option, scroll down the page until you find the “Playable Games” option. Then choose one of the titles to play and click on it.
3. In some cases the game will open immediately. If not, click the button that says “Game play” to start the game.
4. If you want to configure the controls, tap the joystick in the right corner of the screen to change it between keyboard or joystick on PC. Under the question mark button, there is a description of the controls that you can view and thus find the best option for you.
