New comic book called ‘Blackout – Fire on the Fascists’, by Draco, arrives at Catarse

Not long ago, there was the launch of a campaign aimed at collective financing on Catarse for the comic book called “Blackout – Fire on the Fascists”, a new comic book, developed by screenwriter Raphael Fernandes and Dilacerda, which is being published through Draco.

The story shown in the comic book tells the life of a young capoeira master and the parkour Mandrill, who will venture into the mission of investigating the supposed existence of a place that has electrical energy in the midst of the chaos that has taken hold in another version of the Brazilian city of São Paulo after a complete blackout.

The city was completely dominated by various religious fundamentalist groups after the riot. You can check out the official cover of the comic book “Apagão – Fogo nos Fascistas” below, which is written by Val Rodrigues and Jão Canola.

This is not the first edition of “Fire on the Fascists”, but rather the fourth. The first titles made available were “Blackout – Direct Connection”, “Blackout City without Law/Light”, stories that feature art developed by Camaleão, and “Blackout Forbidden Fruit”, a production that received art by Abel and colors by Fabi Marques.

“Fire on the Fascists” aims to bring to the public an intense reflection on the uberization of work, that is, a more flexible and on-demand work that became known after a high unemployment rate in the country. In addition, the work is part of a tribute created for the Antifascist Delivery Workers movement.

And, just like in other editions of the comic book franchise, the Catarse campaign provides some types of rewards for those individuals who wish to support. The campaign ends on November 10th and, if you want to support, just access the following link: link: .
