WhatsApp: Worldwide outage since 17:00?
The bug detection platform, which lists user feedback from all over the world, has indeed recorded several connection failures in Europe as well as other continents: South America (Brazil), the United States, and Asia. These bugs were therefore mainly posted at: From 17:00 and Europe is the most affected country.
What problems do users face? According to data from DownDetector, most of them are having trouble signing in and also having trouble sending messages through the app. Internet users from all over the world report such errors intermittently. Attention should be paid to the rate of spread of the insect. In less than two hours, many countries were affected. It’s hard to say that Android or iOS users are most impressed.
WhatsApp’s outage comes at a certain time: As of this morning, WhatsApp’s direct competitor, Facebook Messenger, has also been disabled across Europe.
