1 billion active users of WhatsApp are in danger of having a very bad evening! They have indeed been having connection issues with the messaging app since around 5pm. according to website DownDetectorThe problems are localized in Europe but unfortunately they are also present in other continents like America!

WhatsApp: Worldwide outage since 17:00?

The bug detection platform, which lists user feedback from all over the world, has indeed recorded several connection failures in Europe as well as other continents: South America (Brazil), the United States, and Asia. These bugs were therefore mainly posted at: From 17:00 and Europe is the most affected country.

What problems do users face? According to data from DownDetector, most of them are having trouble signing in and also having trouble sending messages through the app. Internet users from all over the world report such errors intermittently.
