- go to settings

- Click on theme
- Choose Dark
Therefore, for now, the dark mode is reserved for participants in the beta program established by WhatsApp on the Play Store. Unfortunately, this program was recently shut down. Facebook, the parent company of WhatsApp, claims to have recruited enough beta testers. It is unknown when the option will become available in the final version of WhatsApp on Android.
