TikTok will soon let you post 5- or 10-minute videos

Since its inception, TikTok has always limited the length of videos to one minute. Last July, TikTok removed this time limit. Chinese app now allows Internet users to stream videos up to 3 minutes. TikTok is testing 10-minute videos

According to the information provided by leading social media expert Matt Navarra, TikTok now tests videos up to 10 minutes long. As part of this experiment, the app allows a handful of users, selected according to very specific criteria, to post videos lasting up to 5 minutes. Other users have a limit set at 10 minutes.

This option has secretly appeared in the app via notification. TikTok explains: “Upload videos up to five minutes long from your device. Make sure you’re using the latest version of TikTok before trying this feature on your app or tiktok.com.“.

As in reality, TikTok can wait a few months before the deployment of this feature to all users. Regardless, not all users are welcoming these changes with open arms.
