Painter Elisabeth Vigée Le Brun, literary and philosopher women Simone de Beauvoir and Françoise de Graffigny, political icon Simone Veil, resistance fighters Manon Tardon and French feminism pioneer Olympe Joséphine Baker will be honored. Journalist and activist Hubertine Auclert.


Give women back their place in public space
These statues, which can be seen thanks to augmented reality, are placed next to statues of famous people. With this project, AR Studio wants to give these icons the place they deserve in the public sphereIt mainly highlights famous men from our history.
“Thanks to Snap’s augmented reality technologies, we were able to increase the space given to them in public space by placing the statues of these 8 women next to the male statues. Our wish is to contribute to the effort to raise social awareness about the struggle for women’s rights by establishing a silent dialogue between these historical figures. From our perspective, We were able to preview this experience during an event in Marseille. The result is stunning and any user can easily benefit from it. When you get to the statue all you have to do is access the AR filter via the carousel After a few seconds, tap the Snapchat app to see the virtual statue appear on your screen.
