Overwatch has fascinated the game since its release. A large community of players has been fascinated by this competitive FPS enough to want to play even on the go. Of course, it is possible to use a laptop by connecting to 4G, but this solution is not very practical. Moreover, although the Play Store is full of quality video games, none of them feel the same.
That said, there is an app that lets you play Overwatch on a smartphone, tablet, or Smart TV running Android, iOS, or Windows Phone. This app called Remotr works perfectly if configured correctly.
Unfortunately, it’s only a client that streams video games from a server application installed on your computer. So, to play Blizzard’s shooter (or any other computer game) on your mobile device, you’ll need a Windows, Mac or Linux PC and a WiFi connection. Don’t expect to be able to play Overwatch in a park or beach.
Remotr: an app to play streams on smartphone and tablet
On the other hand, if you are near your PC, you can play on a mobile device using the customizable touch controls or an external smartphone controller. This app has the advantage of being completely free and fully functional.
To use it, first download the Remotr Streamer application to your computer from this address. The software will automatically detect your Steam, Origin, EA, Blizzard and Glyph games. Control presets are already configured for the most popular games, but you can change them as you wish.
Now all you have to do is create a Remotr account and link the mobile app to the PC app. The process is not very complicated and therefore does not require further explanation. If you run into any difficulties, feel free to refer to a tutorial on YouTube.
