We know Samsung’s new Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will be unveiled on February 20, but a few facts ahead of schedule images S10 and larger Galaxy S10+ in the wild. To spoil any surprises, in the weeks ahead.
After months of leaks, rumors and fan-made visuals, this is the Galaxy S10+ with a dual-camera cutout in its display. Also, a Reddit user another photo leaked and other Samsung employees shared important details and answered some key questions, which we will detail below.
First of all, don’t these phones look amazing? While some will hate the cutout and think it’s worse than the notch, the math shows that the screen is used more efficiently than Apple’s iPhone Xs. It’s a great display of this phone, but we found something even better below, showing the front-facing dual camera.
Here we can clearly see the dual front camera, a small top bezel that looks even smaller in real life, and the speaker grille at the top of the screen barely squeezing into the bezel. The embroidery and even the image above make the frames look big, but this photo paints a different picture that will make potential buyers happy.
Also, this blurry image of the Galaxy S10+ was leaked in mid-January. This was the first real photo we received, and with it came a few key details that we’ll highlight in a bullet list below.
The photo appeared on Reddit from a user traveling to Samsung’s headquarters in Korea. Based on the fact that the Galaxy S10 launch event is only a few weeks away, and these images match every leak we see So far, we’re almost 100% sure these are the real deal.
Galaxy S10+ Key Details
In addition, an employee working at the Samsung Suwon campus, where some of these photos came from, had important things to say about the Galaxy S10 Plus. his account recently deleted From Reddit, but important details shared here.
These are some pretty exciting comments from someone who has apparently used and liked the Galaxy S10+ for a while. However, it’s not all good news. The Samsung employee who shared all this information (who later deleted all the comments and Reddit account) also had a few bad words. Recommending the Galaxy S10 and S10+ feels like a minor incremental update compared to the S9. Stating that the differences are not HUGE.
In closing, the Galaxy S10+ is hard to really feel and a beautiful design until we get our hands on it. That said, it’s nice to finally see multiple real photos, not renders.
Overall, there seems to be no doubt that the Galaxy S10+ will have two camera cutouts in the display for dual front-facing cameras, essentially just a smaller and more flashy notch, as we’ve seen from other phones. Expect to see more leaks ahead of the launch event on February 20, and stay tuned for more details as the rumored March 8 release date approaches.
