The new Pokémon Home app, which lets you connect your favorite Pokémon games and then manage your collection, is coming in February.

What is Pokémon House?
This new app Coming to Nintendo Switch with iPhone, iPad and Android. The application is cloud-based and helps you store your Pokémon online and move them to various games.
You can store Pokémon in the cloud, move them between games, and trade with other people around the world. Here is a look at the trading options;
With the app, every Pokémon a user deposits will be linked to the National Pokédex.
What Games Does Pokémon Home Work With?
Currently works with Pokémon Home Pokémon Sword, Pokémon Shield, Pokémon: Let’s go Pikachu!and Pokémon: Let’s go Eevee!As well as the 3DS Pokémon Bank.
At this stage, Pokémon Go support is still in development. There is no information on when this will come.
How Much is Pokémon Home?
Pokémon Home is free to try it out for a month to celebrate the launch. From there, you can use a Basic version for free, but there are a number of limitations. The premium plan allows you to move Pokémon from the Pokémon Bank, store more Pokémon and increase limits, as well as unlock the ability to host a trading room. The picture above shows what you can and cannot do with each plan. Plans start at $2.99 per month and there’s a deal for a one-year subscription.

Pricing makes the most sense, especially for a one-month subscription with a one-month free trial.
Pokémon House Mystery Gifts
If you use Pokémon Home on iPhone, iPad or Android, you can get Mystery Gifts. These are for Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. There are also some gifts specifically for Pokémon Home.
You can then move these gifts to supported Pokémon games.
Pokémon Home: Mobile vs. Switch
The Pokémon Home app offers different features for the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions. You will need both the Switch and mobile app version for maximum value.
The image above shows how the two versions compare. In short, you need a Switch to fully use the Pokémon game features, but you need a phone to trade and receive gifts.
