New Galaxy S20 Leak Promotes 120Hz Display Better

With the official and fast approaching Samsung Galaxy S20 release date, more leaks and information keep on coming. Ahead of the February 11 launch event big leak It has revealed one of the biggest updates to Samsung’s next phone.

The official name is still a complete mystery and Samsung may drop the ‘Galaxy S11’ moniker for the Galaxy S20 to match the new year with the name. And now, when it comes to bigger screens and higher refresh rates on all three models, they’re about to take a step back from the competition.

In 2019, both Google and OnePlus launched Galaxy S10 alternatives with potentially better displays thanks to the high refresh rate. The Google Pixel 4 and even the OnePlus 7 felt and looked faster and smoother.

Instead of the traditional 60Hz display technology found in almost all other phones, both had a higher 90Hz refresh rate. While this uses more battery life, the results are stunning and something we’ve come to expect from most high-end phones in 2020. This is something we’ve seen from gaming phones for a niche market, but it looks like it’s going to be a headline feature. Especially on devices moving forward now that Samsung has jumped on board.

popular leak @UniverseIce posted on Twitter All three of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S20 models will have better displays than Google and OnePlus. They’ll jump straight to 120Hz instead of 90Hz, and the displays on these new phones will be twice as good as on the Galaxy S10.

The best part of this news is that Samsung isn’t just offering it in its bigger or better model. All Galaxy S20 variants will pack this new display technology that will make the software experience, user interface, gaming and more smooth and fast.

Higher refresh rates on the screen are just one of the few upgrades we’ve come to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S20. Some of the others include much larger 6.7 and 6.9-inch screens, four powerful cameras on the back, significantly longer battery life, and more.
