Microsoft pre-installs its apps on Android thanks to 10 new partnerships

As you know, Microsoft is struggling to move forward with its in-house operating system, and the task against the iOS and Android giants will still be tough for the youngest. However, the company Redmond now follows a different strategy and wants to spread its applications to all platforms. This strategy has already started well with Samsung and their partnerships for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

We’ve known since February that the Galaxy S6 would have pre-installed Microsoft apps, but we were a long way from guessing what Bill Gates’ company had in store. As a matter of fact, while Samsung and Microsoft have been in a big conflict for a while, the two giant axes have chosen to fight together.

Microsoft feels pretty good on the app publisher team for Android, as it has partnered with the latter. at least 10 other phone manufacturers. Well, Samsung is the only truly “global” partnership, while others are more local players all over the world, but on a small scale.

The only other “big” partnership is Dell., followed by Pegatron, TrekStor (Germany), JP Sa Couto (Portugal), Datamatic (Italy), DEXP (Russia), Hipstreet (Canada), QMobile (Pakistan), Tecno (Africa) and Casper (Turkey). An army of small manufacturers promoting Windows’ father’s know-how, that’s wise.

Of course, we do not have exact terms of partnerships with financial or other information, all that is known is that manufacturers can install Microsoft apps on the devices they want.
