Google Pixel Watch Release Rumors Revealed

Just like in the last few years, Google will likely launch a new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL this fall. They usually hold a launch event in October. But new reports show that that’s not all Google has planned for 2018.

In fact, Google will reportedly use its hardware event to unveil the 2nd Gen Pixel Bud headset, along with an all-new Wear OS Smartwatch. To be specific, it’s a “Pixel Watch” to get the Apple Watch.

Google’s smartphones continue to impress, but the Pixel Buds fell short in 2017. Not to mention Android Wear smartwatches are not that popular. However, if Google is able to release a few impressive products that work well with Pixel phones, we may see a return of Wear OS. Here’s what we know and hear.

According to the popular and highly sensitive leak Evan Blass, Google has two surprises this year. Alongside the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, we’ll get new Pixel Buds and a Pixel-branded watch. We have no further information to go on, but we hope to learn more soon.

Google recently renamed Android Wear to “Wear OS,” and hopefully a Pixel Watch by Google will help drive sales and make smartwatches popular again. Once they partnered with LG and released a few beautiful watches in 2017, a Pixel Watch might be exactly what the market wants and needs. Especially if that potential Pixel Watch has hybrid features that combine a regular watch with modern software and technology. We’re considering a regular mechanical watch with a Wear OS display on the bottom half. It offers users the best of both worlds.

However, we are more excited about the idea of ​​​​2nd Gen Pixel Bud headphones. Google’s earphones over-promised and under-delivered last year, even if they were excellent headphones. In 2018, we hope for a truly wireless design that can compete with AirPods or Samsung’s Gear IconX. Not to mention the other 100% wireless earbuds on the market.

That makes sense given recent market trends, and you can bet Google Assistant will be built in as well. We’re still a long way from October, but it will be here before you know it. Expect more leaks, reports and rumors, then some sort of announcement from Google in September.
