The Windows 10 Timeline feature has been available since the April 2018 Update. It is a real-time machine that keeps a history of your activities inside your apps. So you can easily resume a task by going back up to 30 days in the Timeline, even if the computer restarts in the meantime. This feature is also available on Android via Microsoft Launcher.
Some important apps were not compatible from the start. Microsoft Edge, for example, was the only browser whose events were kept in the Timeline. Google Chrome is now officially compatible with Windows 10 Activity History, thanks to a new extension from Microsoft.
Windows 10 Timeline: How to make Google Chrome compatible
Simple. simply Download the Web Events extension From Microsoft’s Chrome Web Store. Once installed, you will notice the presence of a Timeline icon in the Google Chrome toolbar at the top right. Click the icon and sign in to your Microsoft account (Outlook or Hotmail address). Follow the process to the end.
You will now be able to access your Google Chrome activity history directly in the Windows 10 Timeline by clicking the “Task View” icon located right next to the Windows search bar. This official compatibility is good news for users of the Timeline feature, especially since Google Chrome haphazardly has more than 60% market share.

The Web Events extension is not currently available in Firefox, but Microsoft is likely to offer it in the future.
