Since May 2018, Google has allowed Gmail users to send confidential emails that cannot be printed, expire on a predefined date, and then do not self-destruct. Until now, this option was reserved for users of the web version.

• Open Gmail app (Logical)
• Press the red icon in the bottom right to compose a new email
• Choose a recipient and compose your message
• Then click the three dots in the top right (next to the send icon)
• Choose incognito mode
• tick privacy mode
• in the section expirationchoose an expiration date: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months or 5 years.
• Inside category passwordYou will choose between two options: Standard or secret code received via SMS. If you choose the second option, your recipient must enter a code received via SMS to open the email. In standard mode, the secret code will be sent by e-mail.
• click Register
• Press the send your email icon (top right)
• If you have selected the secret code received via SMS, Enter phone number.
• That’s it, done!
