Galaxy S8+ CM4 Wallet Case Review 1

Galaxy S8+ CM4 Wallet Case Review

The CM4 Q-card wallet case for Galaxy S8 is a thin and light case that holds three credit cards and some cash. This is not your typical wallet case as there is no front cover covering the Galaxy S8 screen. Your wallet is conveniently placed in the back, it has a built-in kickstand, but is stylish and at the same time protects the phone.

After years of using these cases with the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5, I had to resort to something else when the company stopped supporting Samsung. Now with the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the brand is back and better than ever.

The wallet case is a great way to protect your phone and carry less at the same time, and the CM4 does it better than anyone else. Spigen isn’t the big-known company like Speck or Otterbox, but the premium materials and ease of use make this a case I can recommend without hesitation. Read on for more details and photos.

For me, the best thing about the CM4 Q-Card wallet case is its design. I want a case that is thin, light and doesn’t create much bulk. Getting the same features in a wallet case is nearly impossible. Almost. The design is elegant and the soft touch wallet fabric looks like premium leather. This case provides style, features and protection at an affordable price.

In most cases on the market, more than one material is used. Usually this is just a cheap TPU and some hard plastic. The CM4 uses a patented soft-touch rubber with a unique grip texture for the frame of the case. Then a manager-stitched fabric for the wallet area. Most people think it’s leather because it looks and feels like leather.

It is a full-frame design that protects the Galaxy S8 from every aspect, including the screen. The CM4’s flat flat shield also extends the case a little over the top of the screen to form a lip. This way, users can lay it face down without worrying about damaging the screen. Everything about this case is of high quality without sacrificing design, size or protection.

One of the features that sets this case apart from the others is the high-grip textured sides. It’s hard to explain, so take a look at the photo below. Imagine a tough yet comfortable texture like you’d find on a pistol grip in a phone holster. It feels good and holds this slippery phone safely in your hand.

Overall, the wallet is by far the best part of the case design. The fabric material stretches enough to comfortably fit three credit cards (or an ID) and some cash. It can also safely hold a card if that’s all you need. It doesn’t stretch like leather to the point where a driver’s license can easily fall off.

You’ll love having a cutout on the left edge of the wallet. This allows you to easily and quickly swipe out a card to pay for goods. Like a tab for easy access. I’ve only used wallet cases in the past where removing cards is a chore, and it’s no fun for anyone. The company has really thought of everything.

Also, the entire wallet portion of the case is slightly recessed into the frame to keep things compact. It is not bulky like most wallet cases on the market. Then there’s a slit at the edge of the fabric across the entire frame, which is actually a concealed kickstand. The way this works is to slide out a rewards card or driver’s license and push it into this slot, making the card a fulcrum. Pretty ingenious if you ask me. Just make sure you don’t reveal a credit card number to the public.

The buttons are easy to press and very tactile, and all ports are precisely cut and accessible. To be honest, I have nothing to complain about this case. It looks good, feels good, works great and protects the Galaxy S8+ without being too bulky. I think it’s easier to use the fingerprint scanner in this case as the plastic bends perfectly against the sensor and helps with finger placement.

Many smartphone owners skip wallet cases as they are too big and bulky, but that’s not a problem only for the CM4 Q-card wallet case. It’s the perfect size, lays flat even when full of cash, and has extra features like a kickstand. All of this comes in an elegant and durable design that only costs $24.99.

If you need a wallet case for the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+, look no further than the CM4 Q card.
