Bethesda Studios and Tango Gameworks recently announced The Evil Within 2, the successor to their widely acclaimed game The Evil Within. While the game in itself has a very high horror rate that makes for an immersive experience, to some it may seem boring at times. Especially for someone coming out of Resident Evil 7, the first-person mode seems to be indispensable in games of this genre. It looks like the team behind Evil Within 2 have left behind certain code that allows the user to switch to a first-person view. And after trying it personally, I can guarantee it works really well. So, if you’re someone who also wants to try this new feature, read on as we show you how to enable first-person mode in The Evil Within 2:

note: The following method only works on PC version.
- To start, right click on your game shortcut and choose “Properties”.
- Next, go to: “Shortcut” tab.
- Inside “Aim” Add the following code to the section:
+com_allowconsole 1
click “To apply” and then click “OK” To close the properties box
- Now, Start The Evil Within 2. Press the button after entering the game. The “Insert” key on your keyboard. The in-game console should now be supported.
- Enter the codes below for enable or disable first person mode:
To Enable: pl_FPS 1 To Disable: pl_FPS 0

Make Things More Scary in First-Person Mode in The Evil Within 2
With The Evil Within 2, Tango Gameworks and Bethesda Studios have all produced a great game. It certainly improves a lot from its predecessor and impresses in many ways.
