The impressive new flagship Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been around for just a little over two months, but rumors about the new Galaxy S7 have already started. In fact, early Galaxy S7 rumors surfaced in September and now information regarding a possible release date.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is still months away from its launch, but if the latest reports and rumors swirling around are true, it may not be as soon as many predict. A new leak has surfaced today and the Galaxy S7 release date will likely take place in March.
In previous years, Samsung recorded a date just before the annual Mobile World Congress Conference in Spain to announce and promote its new Galaxy smartphone, and then released it a month or two later. This was usually in March or April. However, we recently heard that the company will fast-track a 2016 launch and launch the new smartphone in January.
Numerous unconfirmed reports on the web and from SamMobile suggested He said Samsung is working hard to deliver phones faster than ever before, beating its competition in the market to sell more smartphones. We saw this in the same month as the Galaxy Note 5, which was announced and released in August.
Previous models were announced in September and launched in late October. The same 1-2 month wait from announcement to release date has historically been the case for the Galaxy S7 and will likely be the same in 2016.
At the end of September, we heard that Samsung is planning to announce the all-new and improved Samsung Galaxy S7 in January and launch it at the end of the month or early February. This will be months before all previous Galaxy Ss and before any new phone in the HTC One series or LG G5. This was exciting news, but today a somewhat credible source claims that won’t be the case and the same usual March release date will happen this year.

Above is an unconfirmed tweet from an unknown, but trusted source in the past about leaks specifically for HTC devices. The leaker correctly confirmed the March 1 HTC One M9 release date, more than five months ago. Long before rumors, leaks or details surfaced. So, he may be right in his latest claim for the Galaxy S7.
Shown above is reportedly an image of the upcoming press invitation email regarding the Galaxy S7. Suggesting that Samsung announce its new flagship smartphone a day or two before its annual Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona, Spain. This is the complete opposite of previous claims of the January release date.
This year, Mobile World Congress (MWC) will take place in Barcelona on February 22-25, as in previous years. And according to several leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be announced a day early, on February 21, before any company that wants to make an announcement at the show.
Samsung never announced or launched a Galaxy S smartphone in January, so when these rumors surfaced back in September, many potential buyers were excited and some even stuck with the Galaxy Note 5, thinking the next Galaxy S7 would be here soon. However, if this latest leak is true, that won’t be the case and Samsung will announce the Galaxy S7 in the same usual timeframe, most likely launching its latest flagship Android smartphone in March.
In closing, the latest rumors claim that Samsung will launch a 5.1-inch Quad-HD (or 3K) resolution Galaxy S7 with tons of high-end features that will make it a worthy successor to the Galaxy S6.
