The download is already available for the Modern Warfare 2 update. Players across all platforms have experienced issues, and Infinity Ward has fixed a bug that caused some players to crash during matchmaking while at a party in-game. In terms of deadlock, the upgrade should offer more stability. Creators will follow real-time issue reports and provide fixes as soon as possible.

General game enhancements by Infinity Ward include:

  • A fix for different camouflages that don’t unlock as you progress.
  • Fix issues with framerate drops.
  • solving known freezing problems.
  • increase in overall performance.
  • Adding solutions for latency and stuttering issues.

Due to an issue affecting players wearing four or more adjustable attachments at the same time, Infinity Ward disabled the attachment adjustment feature last week. In last night’s update, they once again turned on the attachment setting and the issue should no longer be encountered.

Enemy or live ping in multiplayer will continue to be disabled with the start of Season 01 until a solution is presented. This is the result of a bug where some players’ ping persists long after they die. KBM players can still risk ping at this time. In some modes, the player icon on the minimap does not disappear when a player is revived.

In addition to the changes already made, the developers are constantly monitoring the current challenges. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 The Community Update is available for download on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Windows PC via Battle.net and Steam.
