As reported by our colleagues at 9to5Google, the latest experimental versions of Chrome on Android allow its users to play minigames. A new addition on the home screen It offers a different game every day, above the recommended items and below the top sites.
Among the headlines identified by the media, Games like Ghost Rush, the famous Snake, Minesweeper and even the crab game. These are the famous jumping dinosaur-like minigames that are almost always integrated into Chrome. In most cases, these games get tired after a few minutes. Ideal for spending time on the subway, for example.
To play, simply click on the “play” icon displayed in the attachment. To find the games offered in the previous days, simply type their name in the search bar with “play” right in front of it. All the minigames featured so far are from old Google doodles. Likewise, the company aims to group all its minigames in a hub accessible via chrome://games. Please note that this page is not yet accessible to users. At the end, all the games found in the browser will be listed. The option is still under development.
To test the minigames that Chrome offers, we invite you to install the test version of the browser, Chrome Canary. Developer oriented, this is a very unstable version of Chrome. So you may encounter errors or delays. The Canary, on the other hand, always benefits from the latest innovations developed by the company’s developers.
