Antivirus is indeed announcing the release of a new tool, Bitdefender Chat Protection, integrated into the Android app. Secondly, it is compatible with all popular messengers on smartphones like Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord. It is very simple to use: as soon as the tool detects a potential threat in a message, it immediately sends a notification to alert the user.
Bitdefender lets you send messages securely
To do this, Bitdefender analyzes messages sent to these applications in real time and reacts as soon as it detects a threat and provides information about them. The antivirus discloses, for example, whether it is a phishing link or a malicious page. The user will then have the option to report or delete the message sent to him. The tool can also detect scams based on a sense of urgency or identity theft.
