If you notice an unknown SEPA direct debit of several hundred euros on your bank statement, you may be the victim of a now common scam. Titled “European ENS direct debit”, this payment varies between 300 and 600 Euros. It seems that hackers have managed to get hold of private banking data and are using it to run operations at any cost. But the good news: Victims can be reimbursed by their banks… as long as it doesn’t take them too long to do so.
