Google took advantage of the Google I/O 2021 conference to launch the first public beta of Android 12. This is beta The developer who gave us the first look at the operating system is ending the beta phase. During the Developer Preview stage, the operating system did not actually feature any visible changes compared to the Android 11 interface. But developers, especially on XDA, have managed to activate a new design by triggering inactive pieces of code.
The video at the very end of the article will provide an additional overview of the new design features of Android 12. If you installed the beta version, remember: these design changes are still implemented and are based on a server component and users are reporting that new interface elements are slowly appearing on their smartphones. If you have the impression that your Android 12 installation is still very similar to Android 11, we recommend waiting a few days for your smartphone to join the Material You distribution.
